The Great Smoke ($150) is back for 2009 on Feb. 21. Held in West Palm Beach, FL this one day events features forty premium cigar brands, food, drink, massages and a lot more. Definitely worth a trip to Florida.

Cigar Afficionado's Big Smoke In Foxwoods

Another Big Smoke ($240) from Cigar Aficionado. This time, it's being held April 18 at the MGM Grand in Foxwoods. Proceeds will go to aid the fight of prostate cancer. Cigars, gambling, and a good cause--just about the perfect event.

IPCPR Convention and Trade Show

The king of all cigar events is also one of the most exclusive. The 77th annual International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailer Association convention will be held in New Orleans  August 8-12, 2009. A free event open only to retailers and other industry types, this four day extravaganza will showcase the latest in cigar and cigar related technology. If you're in the business, you have to go. If you're not, start your scheming for tickets now.

Biltmore Resort's Cigar Aficionado Roomservice Basket

If you're headed to Miami, and you're looking for a cigar friendly resort, check out the Biltmore Resort and their Cigar Aficionado basket ($95). This basket includes their own line of hand rolled cigars, a cutter, a copy of Cigar Aficionado, brandy and two sifters. See if you can slip this through on your expense report. Big Smoke Las Vegas 2008

We told you about the New York Weekend, but there's still time to make it to Cigar Aficionado's Las Vegas Big Smoke ($550)  this weekend, Nov 7-8. Learn, smoke and converse with other aficionados while you try to beat the house.

Graycliff Hotel

Most hotels have bars, restaurants and  coin operated beds swimming pools, but few have on site cigar factories. The Graycliff Hotel, nestled on an old estate in the middle of Nassau, features its own line of handcrafted cigars in addition to a five-star resort surround by a tropical garden. Go, stay, smoke.

Cigar Heritage Festival

Celebrate the history of cigars at the tenth annual Cigar Heritage Festival (free) in Tampa, FL. This event on 11/18-19 in Ybor City will feature cigar rollers, a live broadcast of the Cigar Dave show, complimentary cigars from top brands, and Cuban food. An interesting and suprisingly educational event.

Big Smoke New York 2008

Join fellow Cigar Aficionados on 11/25 at the venerable magazine's 2008 Big Smoke in New York ($580 for both nights). The price of admission gets you a sampling of great beers and wines and over 25 cigars from makers such as Padron, CAO, Nub, and Oliva. Some of the proceeds go to help fight prostate cancer. A good time and a good cause.

Procigar Festival 2009

Go behind the scenes of some of the top cigar brands at the 2009 Procigar Festival (2/16-20,$750+airfare). This nearly week-long immersion in the cigar manufacturing culture of the Dominican Republic includes a golf tournament, open bar dinner parties, and tours of the fields and factories of Montecristo, H.
